It gives learners the opportunity to develop knowledge related to the private security industry, develop technical knowledge, practical skills and achieve a national Level 2 qualification and develop their own personal growth and engagement in learning.
Course Units
- The CCTV Training Course runs over 4 days and is made up of 3 Units:
- Unit 1: Working as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry
- Unit 2: Practical Operation of CCTV Equipment within the Private Security Industry
- Unit 3: Working within the Private Security Industry
Assessment
- 2 Exams
- 1 Practical Assessment

Grading: The qualifications and units are graded as Pass/Fail
Entry Requirements: Learners should have, as a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening equivalent to the following based in the UK:
- B2 Level qualification
- B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
- ESOL (level 1)
- Functional Skills Level 1 English
