Course Units
- The SIA Door Supervisor course has 4 units that must be covered:
- Unit 1: Principles of working in the Private Security Industry
- Unit 2: Principles of working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
- Unit 3: Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry
- Unit 4: Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry
Assessment
- 3 multiple choice exams
- Practical exam
Age: 18+
Duration: 7 days
Grading: The qualifications and units are graded as Pass/Fail
Entry Requirements: Learners should have, as a minimum, language skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening equivalent to the following based in the UK:
- B2 Level qualification
- B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
- ESOL (level 1)
- Functional Skills Level 1 English
First Aid:
Since April 2021 it has been mandatory that all learners who are taking the Door Supervisors training will have to show a First Aid Certificate (at least a Level 2). Please see our courses details for the First Aid course.
